Jakub Špaňhel

Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Jakub is the personification of a painter who freely lets colors and light speak. His paintings have an inner charge coming from abstracted reality: he can present it convincingly and contemporary, he can get to the essence of figures, landscapes and architecture without being descriptive or literal. It makes visible what is not visible at first glance, opens the door to another reality and leaves it up to the viewer how far they dare to venture into it.
