Roman Franta is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. He is one of the most striking personalities in painting with a rich repertoire of form and content expression. He entered the wider audience awareness through a series of structural insect paintings which earned him a nomination for the Jindřich Chalupecký prize.
