Daniel Hušták, CZ

Daniel Hušták is a graduate of the Institute of Creative Photography at the Silesian University in Opava. Since 2013, he has been working as a photography teacher at a Prague high school and besides teaching he works as a freelance photographer and video maker.

His free work is difficult to classify into a specific genre, but is characterized by working with directness, legibility and pure visuality. He has long been searching for ways to visually define the Czech nation and Czech society; the series Czechs to Czechs (2018) is one of the stops in this search.
