Radu Tesaro Kirby

Radu Tesaro Kirby was born in Prague and spent part of her childhood in South Bohemia. She now lives in Tábor. From 1986 to 1997, she studied piano at the School of Arts, and after 1997, traveled extensively, living in places like New Zealand, Germany, and Canada. In 2001, she moved to Toronto to focus on painting and studied classical techniques at the Michael John Angel Studio. In 2004, she relocated to Zambia, where she lived and exhibited for nearly five years. She mainly works with oil on canvas, using a palette knife, and her art focuses on African themes—portraits, landscapes, and wildlife—but also includes sports subjects.
