Paulina Skavová is a prominent Czech sculptor, scenographer and conceptual artist. She attended the studios of Karel Nepraš and Milan Knížák at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Her works are on the border between sculpture and concept and are characterized by consistency, playfulness or eroticization of female beauty. She is the author of numerous memorial plaques, portrait sculptures and free-standing animal sculptures. She is represented in the collection of the National Gallery and many private collections around the world.
