Lukáš Havrda is an auspicious painter from the newest generation whose work relies on his original style in combination with traditional realist technique. His work is typical for its use of raw brutalist architecture objects or buildings with an emotional history from the times of Normalisation. His unique use of asphalt helps him create a dark atmosphere of vague interiors or urban sceneries. His newest work also includes traditional landscape painting. Apart from that, he works as a scenery artist at Czech Television which is obvious even in his grand formats.
