is a graduate of the Department of Art, Faculty of Education at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. Since 2019 she’s been studying at Robert Šalanda’s atelier at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. She is naturally drawn to figural painting. In her work, she focuses on processing her formative experiences from childhood and early adulthood. In her currently largest painting cycle A Collection of Athletes, which initially began as a recollection of traumatising P.E. lessons and of an unsuccessful career as a competitive swimmer (voluntarily terminated in primary school), she examines the environment of (professional) sports which is far from her natural comfort zone. She approaches the topic with an ironic distance as well as genuine interest. Her work is represented in a number of private collections in the Czech Republic, Belgium, France, and Germany as well as gallery collections (such as the Aleš South Bohemian Gallery).
