Did you know that Mardoša from Tata Bojs creates a special playlist for each issue of our print magazine, inspired by the main theme? Every carefully chosen track comes with a personal comment from him. You can usually find the playlist at the back of the magazine, right next to the movie tips. This time, we’re sharing a shorter version online. Why? To get you perfectly in sync with the vibes of our boxing-themed Issue 6, coming out on December 9. And by the way, ever tried watching a boxing match on mute? Don’t they look more like they’re dancing than fighting?

Mardoša’s playlist packs 14 tracks infused with the energy of boxing – from electrifying riffs that mirror the power of a punch to ironic lyrics exploring life’s tough blows, and even visual stylings that bridge the ring and the dance floor. Expect iconic hits and hidden gems touching everything from nostalgia and dark humor to serious themes like bullying and domestic violence. Each song offers a unique take on boxing as inspiration, metaphor, or pure entertainment. Step into this rhythmic ring and sway those hips – whether to Žbirka or the Rolling Stones.

You can listen to the playlist at this link. For Mardoša’s juicy commentary on each track, check out Issue #6 of the magazine, available for pre-order now.
