Roman Šafránek is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, where he studied in the studios of figurative painting under Jiří Načeradský and monumental painting under Aleš Veselý. He also studied under Jacob Borges during an internship in Salzburg. Currently, he is primarily engaged in artistic and curatorial work and serves as the head of the Applied Painting department at the Secondary School of Industrial and Art in Hodonín.
