This work was created in 2022 as part of a group exhibition called ROW ROW ROW RAČICE, which was presented at the venue of the World Rowing Championships 2022 in Račice. The exhibition is an artistic response of leading Czech and foreign artists to the beauty of this sport.

Karel Štědrý, CZ

Karel Štědrý is a graduate of the Academy of Arts and Crafts and a member of the new art group Firma. Already during his studies he developed his unmistakable handwriting with a distinctive colour and plasticity. At first it was stylized figures, later he moved into the position of geometric abstract compositions. He is one of the most sought-after young artists in the country, and in 2021 he drew attention to himself with a work auctioned by the most famous auction house, Sotheby's. In the same year he was also included in the prestigious J&T Bank Art Index.
