Sarah Emily Porter

Sarah Emily Porter is an abstract painter and sculptor living and working in London. Her work is a dialogue between art and science. She is developing a special mechanism and mathematical system through which she creates abstract paintings. Using gravitational forces she applies liquid paint to the canvas, letting it dry and form geometrical shapes. She has received several awards for her work, such as New Ashgate Rising Stars Award 2021, Richard Seager Annual Arts Award 2019, the London Festival of Architecture City Benches Competition 2019 and the Broomhill National Sculpture Prize 2018.
